We strive to support the most vulnerable and hard to reach in our communities, providing a holistic range of support that generates positive social outcomes for those most in need.
Did you know that we are a local charity entirely responsible for our own fundraising? Without financial and volunteer support we simply would not be able to provide our advice services for the district.
With your help, we can have the confidence in sustaining our services for the future and we also have the ambtion to extend our capacity to support even more members of our community to deal with the problems they face in their lives.
£5000 could provide an Advisor to deliver pop up advice services in Warm Spaces across the district
£3000 could support us to develop our volunteer recruitment programme- vastly increasing our capacity to provide advice.
£1000 could buy vital new remote homeworking IT equipment for 2 volunteers, which is needed to run our services flexibly.
Lewes District Citizens Advice are a small, independent charity reliant on local grants and funding to enable us to deliver our services across the district. We do not receive funds from or are part of central government. We are local and we are here for you.
We are currently putting together a package of ways to support people to be able to easily donate, and fundraise for us, supporting our community to not just manage but thrive.
We must increase individual giving and diversify our income sources to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation, that is not reliant on a small range of income sources.
We will be launching a range of ways to both support and donate in spring 2023.
Stay tuned for further updates.
