Build Your Digital Skills with Free Drop-In Sessions in Seaford and Newhaven

Need help getting online or accessing advice? We can help.


Getting online isn’t always easy, but it’s an important way to access services, stay in touch with friends and family, and get help when you need it. That’s why Lewes District. Citizens Advice and TechResort CIC have launched a new pilot project to make it easier for you to get online, access advice, and stay connected.


Funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology's Digital Inclusion Innovation fund,  the project runs from Friday 9 January to the end of March 2026. The partnership combines Advice First Aid (AFA) with practical digital support, helping you not only get guidance but also gain the skills and confidence to use technology independently.


What’s on offer


  • Digital skills support: Hands-on help with phones, tablets, and computers so you can access online services safely and confidently.

  • Advice First Aid: Our volunteers provide guidance and signposting to services covering housing, benefits, debt, employment, and cost-of-living support.

  • Devices and data: Free devices and mobile data are available for those who need them and meet eligibility criteria. TechResort staff provide hands-on support to help you get set up and feel confident using them.



Drop-in sessions


Weekly sessions will run every Friday from 9 January to the end of March 2026:

  • Seaford office: 37 Church Street, Seaford, BN25 1HG – 10am to 12pm

  • Newhaven office: 15–19 Chapel Street, Newhaven, BN9 9PN – 2pm to 4pm


No appointment is needed. Anyone living in Lewes District is welcome to drop in for free advice and digital support.


This project is here to help you get online, feel confident using digital tools, and access advice when you need it. By combining digital skills training with Advice First Aid, we’ll help you use technology safely and independently, giving you the confidence to manage everyday tasks online and stay connected with friends, family, and your community.
