We’re delighted to share that our Autism Advice Service, delivered in partnership with Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove, has been recognised nationally with the Championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award at the 2025 Citizens Advice Conference.
This award celebrates projects across the Citizens Advice network that are leading the way in making advice services accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone.
Our Autism Advice Service was created with exactly that goal in mind - to make sure autistic adults, with or without a formal diagnosis, can access advice in ways that work for them. The service is designed around understanding and flexibility, offering free, confidential and impartial advice on:
• Benefits and budgeting
• Work and employment rights
• Housing and renting issues
• Consumer rights
• Energy and bills support
Anna and Debbie, our dedicated Autism Advisors, have worked closely with clients to adapt communication, reduce barriers, and create an environment where people feel understood and supported.
Winning this award is a reflection of their incredible work, the positive feedback from the people we’ve supported, and our shared commitment to making advice accessible for everyone in our community.
We’d like to thank our partners at Citizens Advice Brighton & Hove for their collaboration and ongoing dedication to inclusion and accessibility.
